we
create a tailored program which will greatly diminish
performance detractors and
maximizes performance enhancers.
the structure of an
individual’s training program starts with the athlete’s stage of physical
development. sports performance training for pre-pubescent
athletes focuses on developing coordination, agility and speed
(or movement skills) since muscle mass develops later in the
maturation phase.

the chart above illustrates, for
younger athletes, 60-70% of the training time needs to be spent
on movement skills and only about 10-20% on power/strength
training; as the athlete matures and the level of intense
competition increases, training becomes more balanced between
movement skills, power/strength development and efficiency. pros
spend the largest portion of time on power/strength development,
but still spend ample time improving on speed and movement skill
efficiency.
we offer three (3) training
options:

High School Prep
(11-14 years old)
The High School Prep training program is designed to improve overall athleticism.
Each session focuses on speed, agility and movement skills with
a touch of resistance training.
College Prep
(ages 15+)
The College Prep Development program is more advanced and aims
at refining and mastering movement skills as
well as developing the appropriate strength and power to apply
to more specific sport or positional skills.
Team Training
(up to 15 players) sessions are designed to deliver a challenging workout
that is organized, educational, progressive and customized for entire
teams. training sessions are typically conducted at the team's training
facility and focus primarily on linear and multi-directional movement
skills.
Xplosive Speed training
programs are designed to be sport relevant with appropriate movement
skills speed & agility training, medicine ball
strengthening, bodyweight resisted power development, energy system
development conditioning ratios that apply directly to specific sports
demands.
