D o you want to be a ?Dear Athlete:
Have you ever dreamed of running a 6.2? Or a 6.5? Or under a 7.0?
How fast you run the 60 Yard Dash CAN GREATLY IMPACT your baseball career and has a major impact on how coaches and scouts evaluate YOU as a baseball player and which position you will ultimately project to playing. It's that simple. So if you're serious about playing baseball you need to run a faster 60.
Finally, you now have a BLUE PRINT FOR SUCCESS at your disposal. The Crush the 60! training program is a time tested, proven system that has worked for literally thousands of athletes of any ability level!
Most players and coaches think using excessive strength training and conditioning workouts will make you faster. Unfortunately, that's not the answer. Actually, those training methods can make you considerably SLOWER.
Developing explosive speed is not as hard as coaches and athletes make it!
Strength and conditioning training will always be an important part of your training routine, but if you're not utilizing them in the correct manner they can negatively impact your speed and power production. This is why most baseball players are not happy with their speed gains because they just aren't training the right way.
Specific speed technique, flexibility, plyometric and isometric training needs to be incorporated into the program in just the right amounts and done the correct way in order to run faster!
Let me ask you a question... Do you know how fast you need to be to play your position at a high level?
Look at the following list and compare yourself against the average home to first times for Baseball players:
The universal way to scout speed on the playing field is to time hitters from home to first base. The scout starts the stopwatch on "contact," or as the bat is hitting the ball; it is important to anticipate the swing to get an accurate time. Most scouts will click their watch as the ball is crossing home plate, whether the batter swings or not, in anticipation of contact. The scout then stops the watch as the hitter's foot touches first base, again anticipating the contact to stop the watch as accurately as possible. Since left-handed hitters are a step closer to first base, their times are graded a 10th of a second quicker.
When it comes to evaluating speed, most Major League Baseball clubs look for times under 7.00 in the "60". Times of 6.7 - 6.9 usually equate to an average runner on the playing field. Anything faster is considered above average.
SO, are you "fast enough" to play your position at the College or Pro level?
...If NO! Then you NEED SPEED TRAINING just to get a shot!
...If YES! Then you NEED SPEED TRAINING to become an impact player!
Either way, the Crush the 60! Training Manual will help you reach your goal!

Did you know that abdominal control is extremely important how efficiently you can transfer energy throughout your body? First, the neutral pelvis position allows for a greater range of motion for the legs while sprinting, which effectively accomplishes two things: 1. allows for greater force production with every foot strike into the ground and 2. efficiency is greatly enhanced because the body is no longer fighting itself. If the abdominals are the least bit relaxed, then an anterior (forward) pelvic tilt will impede the ability to lift the thigh to an optimal height, thus restricting range of motion necessary to produce maximal force into the ground as well as impeding stride frequency (turnover rate).

Every year I train Major League and Minor League Baseball guys getting ready to go to Spring Training. I have extreme confidence that everything we have worked on will result in a faster 60 time for each and every one of my athletes.
BUT COACH, "how can you be so confident about that? What makes you different than any other coach offering speed training?" ... My answer to that is EASY!
